Gainsbourg

We watched "Gainsbourg" last night at Curzon. I had no expectation but it was cool & entertaining. I knew quite few things about him as he is so famous and iconic. The film was very faithful to his life and all the actors looked very similar to the real people they were portraying. Interesting effect of mixing surreal creatures with his real life. I thought that was his id, a source of his creativity. This film made me want to watch more French film. I will rent one tonight. (I wonder if our local blockbuster has good list of French films.

Then we went for a drink at Charlotte Hotel. Coincidence to watch "Gainsbourg" and drink at "Charlotte".
